A private, appointment-only session in a cozy treehouse studio perched in the Appalachian trees. Quiet, secluded, and designed for presence.
A ceremonial approach: Allie treats each tattoo as a ritual — a personal story honored through careful design, thoughtful pacing, and ceremonial elements that support reflection, release, and renewal.
One-on-one attention from your artist — Allie guides your project from first conversation through completion and aftercare.
Planning & consultation
Start with a detailed intake: we’ll ask about your story, symbolism, placement, size, pain tolerance, healing history, and any medical considerations.
Collaborative design process: sketches and revisions until the design aligns with your intention. Expect questions that help refine meaning as much as aesthetics.
Scheduling: longer sessions and multi-day projects are common; we’ll plan around your needs and the tattoo’s scope. Arrival logistics and lodging are arranged ahead of time.
During your consultation, we will discuss the route, directions, and other travel preparations.
The drive up is a slow unclenching—winding country roads shaded by tall maples, the city noise falling away until you can hear birds and the whisper of leaves. Pulling into the gravel lane, the studio comes into view: the farm, a cozy treehouse perched among branches, and several large, gentle and fluffy dogs wait to greet you. You park, and the scent of incense and greets you as the door opens; inside, warm light, a friendly face, and walls filled with art make it immediately clear you’re somewhere that cares about stories, craft, and a good cup of conversation before the needle begins.

The Tattoo Experience
Over the next two days your tattoo experience unfolds with intention and care: the first session typically focuses on final placement, stencil refinement, and beginning the linework in a calm, private space; if shading or color is planned it may be completed later the same day or reserved for the second day to allow your body time to rest and the artist to assess healing. You’ll stay in the comfortable guest house between sessions, waking to farm-to-table breakfasts and easy access to walking trails that invite gentle movement and fresh air—perfect for clearing your head and aiding recovery.
Evenings are relaxed with home-cooked dinners and time to wander nearby paths or explore local shops and cafes; the slower pace gives you space to reflect on your new piece, care for it properly with aftercare guidance from your artist, and leave feeling grounded and supported.

Our guest house offers a calm, comfortable stay designed for clients traveling to Treehouse Tattooer for their sessions.
